Field Trip and Thanksgiving Play

We have been so busy! We went last Friday to The Princess and the Pea play and then McDonald's afterwards. We had so much fun.

Our 1st grade class performed a short play on Wednesday during Chapel. The play was Dreams of Thanksgiving. ALL of the children did so well memorizing their lines. We learned that the most important thing about Thanksgiving was not the food, but about giving thanks to GOD. Jonie was the mother, Carlton was the child, Leslie was the turkey, Jaren was the yam, Megan was the apple and Emma was the pumpkin. It was very nice to see all of the 1st grade parents at Chapel.

FIELD TRIP!!!!!!!!

This Friday November 9th to Woodbury Playhouse to see The Princess and the Pea and then to McDonalds!!! Please dress children in their burgundy CA shirt and jeans for this trip.

SHOE BOXES-OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Have items at school by November 15th and the class will spend time assembling boxes.

THANKSGIVING DINNER

Dinner will be Friday November 16th.

Dawn Winton will be taking school pictures for the yearbook. All students need to wear a navy shirt. Girls may wear a navy jumper and a white shirt.
